Patterson Reeves & Partners are consulting civil and structural engineers specialising in the design of electrical substations and power infrastructure across the UK.
Established in 1993, the practice has developed a strong reputation within the power sector, delivering civil, structural, architectural and M&E Building Services design for a wide range of substation and grid infrastructure projects. Since 2002, the company has focused heavily on the design of substations, working on both new build developments and complex upgrades to existing sites.
PRP have extensive experience working to National Grid and SSE specifications, and regularly collaborate with major contractors including Siemens Energy, Balfour Beatty and J. Murphy. Their work spans GIS substations, synchronous condenser facilities, converter stations and onshore substations supporting offshore wind developments.
The business operates as a modern, multi-disciplinary consultancy, using advanced BIM and digital engineering tools including Revit, Civils 3D and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
